The annual competition at Maraban Rido Primary School in Chikun Local Government Area brought together youths, women and people from diverse ethnic backgrounds to promote unity, peaceful coexistence and community development.
Adams commended the organisers for sustaining the initiative. He provided financial support to the teams that emerged first, second and third, as well as to the organisers.
He also pledged to attend the grand finale the following week, when trophy presentations and the distribution of support items to widows were planned.
The organisers also provided business starter packs and food items to widows and other less privileged members of the community. They declared support for Governor Uba Sani’s re-election and APC candidates.
Adams was accompanied by Hon. Henry Mara, representing Jaba State Constituency; Hon. Sam Kambai, representing Zangon Kataf State Constituency; and Hon. Musa Mubama.
